New comfortable acoustic armchairs have been introduced within the premises of the Medical University of Gdańsk to provide students and doctoral candidates with spaces conducive to quiet reflection, concentration and rest. Six of the armchairs have been placed in various areas of the Main Library and four additional units in the Atheneum Gedanense Novum building.
The modern armchairs are equipped with a sliding canopy that allows users to partially isolate themselves from their surroundings by covering the upper section of the seat. This solution promotes tranquillity and regeneration while
