Prof. Mariusz Siemiński, Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of Gdańsk, has been elected Co-Chair of the Neurotraumatology Scientific Panel of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN).
Prof. Siemiński, a neurologist and specialist in emergency medicine, devoted many years of his academic career to research in the field of sleep medicine. Following his appointment as Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine, his scientific focus shifted towards emergency conditions, particularly brain injury in acute illnesses such as septic shock and traumatic injuries.
