The Medical University of Gdańsk, together with IRA3P, has joined the international COST Action INTERACT-NF (CA25150) – a European research network dedicated to neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and schwannomatosis (SWN). Neurofibromatosis type 1 and schwannomatosis are rare genetic disorders characterised by the development of tumours of the nervous system. These conditions may lead to numerous neurological complications, chronic pain and a significant reduction in patients’ quality of life.
