Gdańsk Medical University will host Gennaro Madonna, the second-place winner of the 5th edition of the Daniel Fahrenheit Scholarship. The one-year research internship will begin in January 2027 and will focus on mechanisms involved in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. Gennaro Madonna is currently a PhD student at the University of Naples Federico II. His research project, titled Adenosine-dependent mechanisms of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, will be carried out at Medical University of Gdańsk as part of the scholarship programme. The Daniel Fahrenheit Scholarshi
