The University Student Government of the Medical University of Gdańsk represents the opinions and interests of the MUG students both within the University and externally. It is composed of students from various programmes who contribute to building the student community and promoting student initiatives across the University.

Structure of the University Student Government
- University Student Government Parliament;
- USS committees, including Projects Committee, Public Relations Committee, and Education Committee;
- Faculty Student Councils at the Faculties of Medicine, Health Sciences (including IMMiT), and Pharmacy;
- Student Residence Council.
The University Student Government actively participates in discussions aimed at improving the quality of education at medical universities. However, its role extends beyond representation. It provides opinions on key regulations affecting students and participates in decisions regarding the allocation of funds for student activities. On a day-to-day basis, USG GUMed engages in university initiatives, collaborates with local sports clubs and cultural institutions, and organises events for the entire student community. For several years, it has also been one of the co-organisers of the Gdańsk Juwenalia (student festival).
The University Student Government organises a variety of events open to all students. Examples include the Orientation Day for the first-year English Division students and Medykalia, a student festival preceding the Gdańsk Juwenalia. Students are encouraged to get involved in USS GUMed activities at any time by contacting the organisation via its social media channels or by reaching out to the Chair of the Faculty Student Council in their respective faculty. Governing nodies
The USS GUMed Board is the decision-making body of the Univesrity Student Government, in accordance with the University Statute.
The Chair serves as the executive authority of the University Student Government at the university level.
