Coordinator of the team which developed the Recommendations of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Medical Universities (KRAUM) on medical education which were officially adopted and announced by KRAUM in 2023.
A graduate of pharmacy at the Medical University of Gdańsk (currently the Medical University of Gdańsk) in 1998 and law at the University of Gdańsk in 2000. Initiator of the Centre to Support Excellence in Teaching at the MUG, which was established in 2023 with the funds of the ‘Didactic excellence of the University’ project. Promoter of the development of evidence-based medical education. Scientific co-editor of the Modern medical education. Implementation of innovation at the Medical University of Gdańsk study.
Since 2020, she has been the vice president of the Polish Pharmaceutical Society (established in 1947). Since 2012, she has been the president of the National Section of Pharmaceutical Law of the Polish Pharmaceutical Society.
She specialises in pharmaceutical and medical law. She was the deputy chairman of the ministerial team for the development of the ‘Act on the profession of pharmacist’ (Journal of Laws of the Ministry of Health of 2017, item 106) and coordinated conceptual and normative work on the drafting of the legal act. The Act came into force in April 2021, introducing many pioneering solutions for the profession of pharmacist. Member of the ministerial team for the pilot implementation of pharmaceutical care (Journal of Laws of the Ministry of Health of 2017, item 107).
Her research interests primarily explore the legal conditions governing the functioning of the drug distribution and reimbursement system, as well as the autonomy of medical professions in the context of pharmacotherapy safety and patient safety. In 2013, she founded the first Student Scientific Circle of Pharmaceutical Law at a medical university.
She was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit (2023) and the Gold Badge of Merit for the Polish Diabetes Association (2005).
