Gender Equality Plan

The Gender Equality Plan of the Medical University of Gdańsk is a public document addressed to all members of the academic community. It defines objectives and areas for action, provides for the collection and monitoring of data, and commits the University to implementing training activities consistent with the promotion of equality among employees of the Medical University of Gdańsk. The University has Codes of Ethics, and there are Senate and Rector's committees dealing with issues of discrimination and equal treatment. The main task within the Gender Equality Plan was to establish objectives together with specific actions and indicators for monitoring progress.

The Gender Equality Plan of the Medical University of Gdańsk sets out the following four objectives:

Objective 1. Increasing awareness of the principle of equal pay for equivalent positions.
Objective 2. Supporting the development of women's scientific careers.
Objective 3. Promoting work-life balance.
Objective 4. Advancing awareness of gender equality and cultural diversity.
