pursuant to the provisions of Article 173 of the Telecommunications Law, in force since 22nd March 2013, we hereby inform you that the MUG online systems use cookies for the purpose of collecting statistical data and other information necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the applications of the Medical University of Gdańsk.
In the part of the MUG online systems that is not visible to users, namely in the source code of the website, there is, among other elements, the code of the Google Analytics application, which is used to collect data about:
- the number of visits to a given online system;
- the number of page views;
- the number of unique users;
- the average duration of visits;
- users’ demographic data, including language, country, territory and locality;
- system data, including operating system, browser, service provider, screen resolution and screen colours.
The above information is used exclusively for administrative and statistical purposes. The statistics are fully anonymous and are not linked to users’ personal data.
