The academic and local-government tradition of the annual parade of Pomeranian universities, held under the motto Long Live Science!, will take place on 10th October. This year’s edition is organised by the Fahrenheit Union of Universities in Gdańsk, in its new, enlarged composition, together with the City of Gdańsk.
The joint Gdańsk inauguration of the academic year will be held for the fifth time. For years, it has brought together representatives of the scientific and artistic communities, local government officials and residents, highlighting the importance of cooperation for the development of the region, based on the responsible use of the potential of science.
For the first time, the organisers will act in an enlarged composition. The Medical University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology and the University of Gdańsk, which form the Fahrenheit Union of Universities in Gdańsk, have now been joined by the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk.

Please note that on this day, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. , traffic disruptions may occur on ul. Długa and at Targ Węglowy, on the section between the Prison Tower and the Golden Gate.
